GERMAN-MADE STERLING COFFEE & TEA SET -- 5 Pieces, early-mid 20th century. All pieces marked with the maker's mark of WH/H (unidentified), "Handarbeit" (hand-made) and "925" and/or "Sterling". Coffee Pot measures 9.75 tall x 10.25 inches spout to handle; Tea Pot is 8.5 inches tall x 10 inches spout to handle; Cream Jug measures 5.25 inches tall x 5.75 inches spout to handle; Sugar Bowl is 5.25 inches tall x 6.25 inches handle to handle; sterling tray is 23.5 inches tall x 15.25 inches wide.
VERY GOOD CONDITION. Beautiful set with bulbous body, cylindrical neck and chased rose floral design on a footed base, with rose finials. Quality heavy gage sterling--the set weighs in at an impressive 145+ troy ounces. VERY GOOD CONDITION with no dings or dents or crimps that I could find, some light scratches, and no signs of repair. All pieces set flush on a table with no wobble. The lids fit tightly. The handles are tight except the lower resistor of the coffee pot has a teensy, tiny bit of movement which is not always noticeable. The matching sterling tray does have a few deeper scratches, but overall in very good condition. A unique set sure to impress.
